Sumitomo Plastics Machinery provides training that is designed to give highly effective technical instruction to the people operating your injection molding machinery and controlling your molding efficiency. And efficiency is key to the bottom line on the production floor.
Training
Training on Sumitomo injection molding machines is an on-going service available to our customers.
All new Sumitomo injection molding machine customers receive customized training classes (3 days, in customer's facility) designed to meet their specific needs. Additional in-depth training sessions on machine operation and maintenance are available at:
- Your facility
- Sumitomo's Tech Center in Atlanta, GA
- The new Los Angeles Training Facility which opened in April 2007
The pre-scheduled training classes in Atlanta and Los Angeles are affordably priced. For example, the 2-day operations and maintenance courses, which range from $200-$300, include all training materials and lunches.
Operation Courses are designed for individuals who already have a basic understanding of injection molding machine functions and operation.
Maintenance Courses are designed for individuals who have basic electronics and hydraulic skills as well as a good understanding of injection`molding machine functions and operation.
A Processing Fundamentals Course is also offered for individuals at the beginner to intermediate level.
